Seeking input from early adopters

Be a voice and define future products in a student-first edtech startup.

Add your information for updates

Sikanai is seeking input to refine our product.

My co-founder, Wasi, and I share a passion for edtech. We’ve tossed around (and passed over) a lot of ideas through the years, but the idea we’re working on now is the one we want to take across the finish line.

Auth+ can stop ghostwriting in the classroom. We believe in it, and believe it’s a watershed product that can grow into so much more.

We want your help to refine Auth+. Help us make a product that streamlines your work, not giving you more work, but helps with what you currently do. We hope you’ll sign up and join in the progress.

Sincerely,

Barry Burkett Jr., Co-Founder

Mission

Sikanai delivers tools to make education better.

We develop novel software solutions to emerging problems, and re-imagine well-known tools. We believe technology is the vessel, and people are our ultimate destination.

Values

  • Equity: We work to develop products that treat people fairly, equally, and with dignity.
  • Accessibility: We believe in Design for All principles, and work to make our products seamless to a user’s life.
  • Privacy: Users – instructors, students, and others – have a fundamental right to freedom from unauthorized intrusion, including the intellectual property they create for study.
  • Accountability: We have an obligation to our users to get developments right, to not add undue work to the user’s life, and to accept responsibility when we do not meet those standards.
[Auth+ has] very positive feedback from good students! A pedagogical benefit is that it makes students think about what they have submitted. I use it as a regular part of my assessment procedure.
